Patrol Shifts

  • 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.
  • 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.

Staff & Responsibilities

The Patrol Division consists of officers holding the rank of Patrolman, Master Patrolman, Corporal and Sergeant. Each officer attends a minimum of forty hours of continuing education plus two hours of mental health training and pass a state firearm qualification each year. Duties for the Patrol Division include responding to calls from citizens, traffic enforcement, accident investigation, criminal investigation and neighborhood patrol.

Specialized Campaigns & Community Partnerships

This division participates in several specialized campaigns to include:

  • Click It or Ticket: A major effort to encourage everyone to wear seat belts - seat belts save lives
  • Over the Limit/Under Arrest
  • Work Zone Safety

The Glenpool Police Department also partners with community organizations to help with events such as:

  • Glenpool Black Gold Days
  • Glenpool Public Safety Day
  • Glenpool Chamber Leadership Program
  • Glenpool Spooktacular Fest
  • Glenpool Black Gold Car Show
  • Coffee with a Cop

Employment Requirements

Employment requirements consist of: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Twenty one years old or older
  • Ability to pass a fitness test and psychological exam
  • Able to work well with the public
