The City of Glenpool Strategic Plan represents the next chapter in our community’s growth and long-term vision. It serves as a roadmap for decision-making, resource allocation, and service delivery ensuring that city operations align with the values, priorities, and goals of our residents.
Developed through collaboration among City Council, staff, residents, and business owners, this plan reflects the shared vision of our community. Through a comprehensive community survey, data review, and an assessment of Glenpool’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges, City Council identified clear strategic priorities. City staff then developed focused action plans to guide implementation over the next five years.
The Strategic Plan is designed to communicate the City’s long-term vision, guide both short-term and long-term initiatives, and set direction for annual budgeting decisions. It ensures that we remain intentional, transparent, and accountable as we continue moving Glenpool forward.
The four strategic priorities identified for the City are:
Streets & Infrastructure – Improving street, stormwater, and sewer infrastructure to support growth and safety.
Culture & Entertainment – Expanding shopping, dining, parks, and recreation opportunities to enhance quality of life.
Economic Development – Encouraging responsible economic and housing growth to strengthen the local economy.
Public Safety – Enhancing public safety through staffing, funding, equipment, and transportation safety improvements.
