[ARCHIVED] Service Spotlight

Buddy Hackler

For this week's Glenpool Service Spotlight, we are highlighting Detective Corporal Robby Glasby. He began his law enforcement career in Glenpool in 1997.  After working for the Creek County Sheriff’s Office, he returned to the Glenpool Police Department in 2007.  In the last 15 years, what Officer Glasby has enjoyed most about his job is working for, interacting with, and serving the citizens of Glenpool.
Officer Glasby tells us that he never has the same day twice in his position.  As a Detective, he is called to any major crime scene to begin the investigation and document the scene. He is also responsible for any follow investigations, contacting witnesses, recovering potential evidence, and filing any paperwork needed by the courts.  He enjoys everything about his position.
Office Glasby has always felt the need to serve others and feels that to make our community a better place, we must all work together. “The citizens of Glenpool have always gone out of their way to let us know that, as a department, we are appreciated.”  Office Glasby also said, “It’s the people of this city who have made Glenpool a great place to work.”
Thank you, Officer Glasby!
