[ARCHIVED] Service Spotlight

Michelle Stonecypher

Our next service spotlight is Michelle Stonecypher. Michelle is the lead Animal Control Officer for Glenpool and has worked for the City for the last eight years. She wanted to work somewhere she could make a difference in the lives of animals, giving them the love and attention they deserve. She deals with everything from managing loose stray animals, supporting injured wildlife, and performing animal welfare checks.
Assistant Chief Bart Harris says, “Michelle is all business when it comes to animal care and safety. She’s passionate about what she does and takes it very seriously. She always goes above and beyond what her normal duties are.”
Something everyone should know about Michelle is that the well-being of all animals comes first for her. In her time off, she works to help animals find their perfect home at her favorite local rescue groups. Outside work, Michelle also enjoys spending time outdoors. She likes to hike, kayak and spend time with her kids.
Thanks for your hard work, Michelle!
