Our next Service Spotlight features Sarah Griffin. Sarah serves as the Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Glenpool. She has worked in this position for a little more than a year and enjoys working for the city she lives in. She spends her days keeping Glenpool beautiful by making sure that lawns are mowed, trash is cleaned up, and other city codes are followed.
One thing that Sarah wants people to know is that everyone that lives in the city must comply with the ordinances, even herself. She said, “I’m here to help you, just give me a call.” Her favorite thing about Glenpool is that it feels more country than city and that it’s family-oriented.
Her supervisor, Gerald Gilbert, says "Sarah is a problem solver and will go above and beyond what is necessary to assist residents in understanding the city codes and work with them to achieve compliance. Every situation is different, and she works well with people even when they are asked to do things that they do not want to do. I have worked with many Code Enforcement Officers over the course of my 38 years in government service, and she is the best I have worked with."
Thank you for all your hard work, Sarah!
