[ARCHIVED] Service Spotlight

Troy_Radford Service Spotlight

The Service Spotlight this week is Troy Radford. Troy is a captain with the Glenpool Fire Department, and a Glenpool native who has worked for the city for more than 24 years. He would tell you that no two days are the same working for the fire department and, just when he thinks he’s seen it all, he realizes he hasn’t.
One of the things Troy likes most about his job is following in his father’s footsteps by helping the community he calls home.
His supervisor, Chief Paul Newton, has worked with Troy for 17 years. When asked about Troy, he shared, “Troy has an intensity that is appreciated in our line of work but still finds a way to keep things light.“ He went on to say, “Troy is an outstanding leader and isn’t afraid to tackle any assignment given.”
Thank you, Troy, for taking care of Glenpool. We appreciate your dedication!
